The Oakland Raiders have officially signed their entire 2019 draft class as No. 4 overall pick Clelin Ferrell has inked his four-year deal.
After signing his first NFL contract, Ferrell expressed his excitement about being a Raider as he prepares for training camp:
Ferrell is expected to open the season as one of the Raiders’ starting defensive ends, likely opposite second-year player Arden Key. Given Ferrell’s big-time experience in the ACC, it wouldn’t be a shock to see him play well as a rookie.
Look for Ferrell to have a significant role in 2019 for the Raiders and he could be in the running for Defensive Rookie of the Year honors.
