Raiders co-captain Josh Hodgson lists house for sale

Raiders co-captain Josh Hodgson is selling up his Fraser digs, with the footballer making a cameo in a marketing video for the house.

Hodgson said he had "mixed emotions" about the house going on the market, in a video posted by listing agent Jonny Warren of Independent Inner North & City on Wednesday.

"I'm really sad at the thought of leaving and that it's actually going up for sale, we've got some great memories here," he said.

The Raiders hooker said one of the parts he will miss most about the home is the balcony where he enjoys his morning coffee while watching the sunrise.

An online advertisement for the five-bedroom home describes it "generous" and "family friendly", with an expansive backyard labelled a highlight.

The house sits on a corner block of 1169 square metres.

Hodgson and wife, Kirby, have lived in the home with their two children for more than two years. The pair have completed renovations on the property over that time.

The listing comes after a big year for Hodgson who was elevated to co-captain the Raiders with Jarrod Croker this season. He lead the team to their first grand appearance in 25 years.

Over the past month, the Englishman has been travelling with the Great Britain Lions rugby league team in the South Pacific.

Hodgson is contracted on at the Raiders until 2022.

The property will be going to auction on December 7 at 2pm.
