Raiders, Chiefs final injury report: Both Chiefs’ starting right tackles are OUT

In every game this season, either Lucas Niang or Mike Remmers has started at right tackle for the Chiefs. Both of them are officially OUT vs the Raiders Sunday Night.

Niang has started seven of the Chiefs’ nine games this season, including the last two. Remmers — who started at right tackle last season for the Chiefs — would be stepping in for him if he were healthy, but he’s not, so the Chiefs must go to a third option — Andrew Wylie.

Wylie was a starting guard for the Chiefs from 2018-20, but has yet to start a game this season. He came in for Niang in the first quarter of last Sunday’s game against the Packers, and played 80% of the snaps.

Maxx Crosby already had plenty of motivation to retake the Raiders lead in sacks after Yannick Ngakoue took it over last week. Now Crosby will get to work against a recent backup guard to try and do it.

Four Raiders players show up on the injury report for today. None are starters. OUT are S Tyree Gillespie (hamstring) and LB Nick Kwiatkoski (ankle). Doubtful are CB Keisean Nixon (ankle) and CB Amik Robertson (hip).
