Raiders, Chargers injury report: Trent Brown, Rodney Hudson return to practice

Tuesday brought good news on a short week for the Raiders. Monday, they had five players missing, five of whom were starters. Four of those starters took the field Tuesday, though they were limited.

Trent Brown left Sunday’s game with an ankle injury and didn’t return. He had an MRI on Monday as did starting cornerback Daryl Worley. Their return to the field today suggests the results from those MRI’s were positive.

Still not practicing are defensive ends Josh Mauro and Arden Key. Monday, Jon Gruden said he feared Key may have a broken foot. He, too, received an MRI to be certain. Should it actually be broken, we will soon find out as such an injury midway through the season would figure to put him on the shelf the rest of the way.

There was no change to the Chargers injury report. They had six players not practicing on Tuesday just as they had estimated had they practiced on Monday.
