Raiders CB Gareon Conley practicing on Wednesday after injury scare

Despite the win in Week 1 of the regular season, it was somewhat bittersweet as Raiders’ cornerback Gareon Conley suffered what appeared to be a severe neck injury in the second half of their game against Denver.

Conley was hit on the top of the head by Johnathan Abram’s foot and left the field by stretcher. It was a scary moment for not only Conley but for the entire Raiders’ team. Miraculously, Conley was okay and he was on the practice field on Wednesday.

Considering the possible outcomes, the Raiders couldn’t feel any luckier in regards to their star cornerback. If he is cleared to play this week, expect Conley to shadow Sammy Watkins as Tyreek Hill will miss this contest.

Seeing Conley back on the practice field is the best possible sight any Raiders’ fan could see.
