Raiders bring back LB Kyle Wilber

It will be a third run at the Raiders roster for Kyle Wilber. Wednesday the reserve linebacker and special teams captain was officially re-signed by the team, according to their official website.

The 30-year-old has appeared in 29 games over the past two seasons for the Raiders, almost exclusively on special teams. Though last time he started a game and even had a couple pass breakups.

Special teams coach Rich Bisaccia loves Wilber. The two have been player and coach on the same team going on eight years now; first with the Cowboys (2013-17) and now entering their third season together with the Raiders.

Wilber has been top five in special teams tackles each of the past two seasons just as he was for many years in Dallas. The former fourth-round pick has carved out a nice career for himself on special teams. Good work if you can get it.
