The Raiders have made their first move of free agency, as they have agreed to terms with former Bears linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Kwiatkoski started eight games for the Bears last season, tallying 76 tackles and eight tackles for a loss. He also contributed three quarterback hits along with four pass deflections.
The Raiders are still expected to address their linebacker need during the NFL Draft, but Kwiatkoski gives them an instant starter with experience. He is only 26-years old and was playing the best football of his career last season. Expect this to be one of several moves the Raiders make over the next few days.
