Raheem Sterling names the two teams he plays as on FIFA

Raheem Sterling has revealed he still plays as his former side Liverpool on FIFA.

Sterling completed a move across the north west in 2015, attracting the wrath of some Liverpool supporters, but admitted he still sometimes plays as the club on the game.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Sterling admitted he does not opt for City when playing matches of FIFA and revealed the two teams he turns to instead.

He said: "Usually Paris Saint-Germain, and I shouldn't say this, but Liverpool."

It is, of course, all fun and games, with FIFA being extremely popular among footballers and supporters.

City and Liverpool enjoyed a fierce rivalry last season in pursuit of the Premier League title, with Sterling's side eventually finishing one-point ahead of the Reds in the standings.

The two clubs are expected to compete for the biggest honours again next season, with Liverpool entering the campaign as European champions after lifting the Champions League in Madrid last month.

They will also face off against one another in the FA Community Shield at Wembley, which acts as the annual curtain raiser for Premier League clubs ahead of the new season.

City won the prize last season after defeating Chelsea, while Liverpool last lifted the trophy in 2006 after beating the Blues at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

The Reds are the joint-second most successful club in the competition's history though with 15, alongside Arsenal, while City have won the honour on five occasions.
