Raheem Sterling goal, Edouard Mendy woes: Every Chelsea player at World Cup group stage round-up

Chelsea have 15 players representing the club at the World Cup in Qatar, with many of them in contention of winning the tournament. Graham Potter will be eagerly watching on as he looks to transform the Blues' fortunes upon the return of the Premier League in late December.

The 47-year-old will also be hoping that the club don't pick up any injuries over the next couple of weeks, having already suffered a wave of absences. As it stands, Chelsea players at the World Cup have done well to evade injury.

With the Blues heading into the tournament outside of the European qualification places, the World Cup comes at the perfect time to allow players the chance to recapture their best form. Raheem Sterling for example scored in England's opener versus Iran, despite having struggled to find the net previously at Stamford Bridge.
