Raheem Sterling embarrassed Paul Pogba during Man Utd 0-2 Man City

They were both named in the PFA Team of the Year on Thursday morning, but Raheem Sterling and Paul Pogba were very much on different sides on Wednesday evening.

Sterling's Manchester City earned a vital 2-0 win at Old Trafford in their challenge to ward off Liverpool and clinch a second successive Premier League title, with Bernardo Silva and Leroy Sane scoring the goals in the second period.

United had put up something of a fight in the in the first half of the game, but ultimately they fell short of the quality required to really test Pep Guardiola's side across the 90 minutes.

And some fans were left considering that it wasn't just the quality that made a difference, but the will-to-win of Guardiola's men too.

That can be summed up in a second half moment when Sterling - who is listed at 5ft 7ins (170cm) tall on the football statistics site Soccerway - beat Pogba (6ft 3ins, 191cm) to a header, despite his clear height disadvantage.
