Raheem Sterling becomes Premier League's most wanted star as commercial giants line up

Raheem Sterling has become the most commercially sought after player in the Premier League.

England star Sterling is set to take over from David Beckham as the hottest property in football having been signed up as the new face of Gillette, is doing an advert for Pepsi and is doing a tie-up with H&M.

Sterling has over six million followers on Instagram and starred in an advert for video game FIFA 2020 as well as being the cover story of the next FourFourTwo magazine.

Manufacturers are also ready to break the bank to secure his next boot deal with his current Nike deal due to expire next year.

Manchester City forward Sterling, 24, has earned deserved plaudits for his fight against racism, is arguably England’s best player and his profile and good looks have made him a global superstar.

He is clearly an advertiser's dream, and it is not difficult to see why.

He has also given a lot to charity in the past, and contributed a 'substantial' donation to those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire in 2017.

Sterling has again been in good form at the start of the new season, scoring eight goals and creating two assists for City in all competitions, while he scored two and created an assist in his most recent game for England against Bulgaria.

He also called out the Bulgaria manager Krasmir Balakov after he had accused England of having a bigger racism problem than they did. Following the shameful scenes in Sofia Sterling tweeted saying "Mmmmh... Not sure about this one chief", with a link to Balakov's quotes.

Sterling will next be in action when City travel to Crystal Palace on Saturday hoping to move within five points of top-of-the-table Liverpool , who don't play until Sunday.
