Raheem Sterling asks Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain question as Liverpool preparations continue

Raheem Sterling poked fun at Alex-Oxlade-Chamberlain after the Liverpool midfielder took to Instagram to post a training video ahead of the new season.

Oxlade-Chamberlain found it hard to break into Jurgen Klopp's plans regularly last season but appears to be putting in the hard yards during the off-season as he faces a defining campaign at Anfield.

Uploading a series of videos with a variety of successful shooting drills, ex-Liverpool and current Manchester City star Sterling appeared to poke fun at Oxlade-Chamberlain asking "How many takes?"

Liverpool youngster Curtis Jones also commented on Oxlade-Chamberlain's post: "Yeahhh the lefty looking nice."

Liverpool fans were excited by the teaser ahead of the return to Kirkby for pre-season training on July 12th.

It promises to be a big season for the former Arsenal man who has been frustrated by injuries since he joined Liverpool for £35million in 2017, starting with the ACL injury he suffered in April 2018.

And with Klopp losing key defenders last term, he was reluctant to rotate the midfield, leaving Oxlade-Chamberlain limited to the bench for large parts of his season.

However, a fantastic finish against Burnley in Liverpool's penultimate game of the season reminded many of his ability.
