Ragnar Klavan's new club mocks Man Utd and Sergio Ramos after signing ex-Liverpool star

Ex- Liverpool defender Ragnar Klavan has put pen to paper on a deal with what is the tenth club of his career in the form of Club Paide Linnameeskond back in his home country of Estonia.

Almost immediately after his signing was confirmed, his new side took to social media to poke fun at Manchester United and their new signing Jadon Sancho, much to the delight of Liverpool fans online.

Klavan enjoyed two seasons at Anfield after he was brought in from German club FC Augsburg by Jurgen Klopp in the summer of 2016, before leaving in the summer of 2018 for Serie A side Caligari.

Though he was hardly on the calibre of someone like Virgil van Dijk, he earned fan favourite status fairly quickly and was even rewarded with his own chant.

Klaven's most memorable moment in Liverpool colours came on boxing day 2017, where he bagged a late winner as Liverpool defeated Burnley at Turf Moor to continue in their march to Champions League qualification, it would turn out to be his only goal for the club.

His new side sparked quite the stir on social media with their witty remarks, taking aim at everyone from Sancho to Sergio Ramos.

Outside of Liverpool fans, Klaven is one of Jurgen Klopp's most forgotten signings after failing to hit the heights of other defenders that have since taken his place.

However, given his chant is still sung in the Kop years after his departure, he certainly has not been forgotten by the Anfield faithful.

Liverpool is undoubtedly the highlight of the 35-year-old's career, but he did also enjoy three years with Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar, where he won the 2008/09 Eredivisie.

The closest he came to silverware in a Liverpool shirt was the 2018 Champions League final, where the Reds were beaten 3-1 by Real Madrid.
