A day after the first poster, makers of Ragini MMS Returns have now released the teaser of the upcoming web series by Ekta Kapoor. Karishma Sharma and Siddharth Gupta play lead roles while Riya Sen also has a special role in the web series.
The teaser shows glimpses of the previous films and warns us that the latest franchise will “enter your bedroom”. It begins with Ragini MMS starring Rajkummar Rao and Kainaz Motivala. The film showed how a couple’s weekend getaway “became a nightmare”. Then the teaser cuts to Ragini MMS 2 starring Sunny Leone with its tagline ‘Fear Got Sexy’. We are then introduced to bikini-clad Karishma Sharma going all seductive on us. The tagline Ragini MMS Returns goes, “They didn’t know it then, it was a threesome.” It is time for some shouting, because the horror element needs to get some play too. So we get to see a ghost demurely clad in a saree.

Karishma has played a negative character in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. She also essayed important roles in Pavitra Rishta and the film Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2.
Ragini MMS featured Rajkummar Rao and Kainaz and released in 2011, while the second instalment (2014) had Sunny Leone and Pravin Dabas in lead roles.
Ragini MMS was among one of the first films to start the new wave of erotic horror genre in India. Its commercial success paved way for more such films.
