Raging shoppers have slammed a giant box of Nestle chocolate bars over missing contents and damaged packaging.
On sale at Amazon, The Big Biscuit Box, contains 71 chocolate bars including Toffee Crisp, Yorkie, Kit Kat, Blue Riband and Breakaway bars.
The product description reads: "A display-ready presentation box featuring five delicious chocolate biscuits + Includes an assortment of KITKAT, BREAKAWAY, BLUE RIBAND, TOFFEE CRISP and YORKIE BISCUIT chocolate biscuit bars."
With a price tag of only £12.99, the box of goodies sounds like a chocolate lover's dream - but some customers are not happy, Birmingham Live reports.
Shoppers have taken to social media to have their say, with one disgruntled shopper labelling the product a “misleading rip off.”
Another angry customer added: “Good but I could buy all these for £10 at Poundland.”
A third said: “This box was very disappointing and actually not good value for money.”
“Rip off do not buy!!!” a fourth wrote.
“Could have just bought loads of full sized bars in a supermarket for a lot less money,” said a fifth.
Worryingly, some shoppers have even commented their boxes had arrived opened or with chocolate bars missing.
One customer said: “DO NOT BUY!! My box came battered and taped up with tape, the cardboard has almost collapsed! This is supposed to be a present for someone! Waste of my money!”
Another wrote: “Nowhere near 71 bars inside I thought I’d give this product the benefit of doubt after the reviews I saw wish I had never bothered no Yorkie bars inside at all DO NOT BUY!!! Absolute rip off.”
However, some customers have praised the Big Biscuit Box, with one labelling it a “great gift idea” and saying they would buy it again.
Another pleased shopper added: “chocolate lovers dream.”
