Rage Against the Machine announced as first headliner for Electric Picnic 2020

Rage Against the Machine have been revealed as the first headliner for Electric Picnic.

The Stradbally festival is already sold out and it seems like the band let the news slip early with an announcement of their tour dates.

The band recently announced a comeback tour after a nine-year hiatus.

And festival organisers confirmed the announcement by the band last night on Twitter.

They said: "** JUST ANNOUNCED ** RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE ** #EP20**


"We’re over the moon to have one of the world’s most incredible live acts joining us in Stradbally this September!"

The band last played in Ireland in in 2009.
