Rafael Fernandes is 'very happy' to have joined Rangers on loan until the end of the season as he revealed his first impressions of the club.
The Ibrox side confirmed the acquisition of the 22-year-old from French top-flight side Lille this morning.
Philippe Clement has secured his first signing of the January window, with his club possessing an option to buy Fernandes.
Upon joining Rangers, the central defender outlined his delight: "I am very happy to be here," he told official club media.

"It was a club I wanted to come to since I heard about the interest, and I am really happy to finally to be here.
“My first impressions have been really good, I met some of my colleagues, some of the staff and all of them made me comfortable to start this new challenge.”
Fernandes' arrival is a timely boost amid Rangers' defensive injury issues.
John Souttar and Dujon Sterling remain on the sidelines, with Leon Balogun only returning midweek against Aberdeen.
Boss Clement was glad to add the Portuguese under-20 internationalist to the Ibrox ranks: "I am really pleased to welcome Rafael to the squad," he said (official club media).
"He is a young defender who brings with him a lot of qualities which will be an asset for our team for the remainder of this season.
“He has a lot of potential, and I am looking forward to working with him.”
Rangers take on Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup tomorrow afternoon before a mammoth trip to face Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League next Thursday.
