New Rangers signing Rafael Fernandes has revealed how he used to play as them on his PlayStation as a child.
The Ibrox club confirmed the signing of the central defender on loan until the end of the season on Saturday morning. They possess an option to permanently buy Fernandes from Lille, should he prosper in Glasgow.
When he initially heard of Rangers' interest, Fernandes was keen to make the move, having supported the club from afar growing up: "I have followed Rangers since I was a kid, so it is a club that I really love," he said (Rangers TV).
"This club has a lot of history and when I knew about the interest I really wanted to come here."

The former Sporting CP academy kid also revealed how he'd play as Rangers on his PlayStation back in the day.
He said: "I was aware of Rangers since I started to watch football, when I was five or six years old.
"I used to play the PlayStation and sometimes I played with Rangers.
"Now I am a Rangers player. It is a nice story, and I am really happy."
The 22-year-old comes in amid a defensive injury crisis, with John Souttar and Dujon Sterling still on the treatment table. Leon Balogun only returned from the sidelines midweek against Aberdeen.
Fernandes' arrival provides Philippe Clement with a timely boost and some much-needed added depth at the back as his side continues to negotiate a demanding fixture schedule.
Fraserburgh lie in wait at Ibrox later this afternoon before a mammoth trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League midweek.
