Everton players have begun arriving back at Finch Farm for pre-season training to kick off the Rafa Benitez era with the club.
The manager was appointed last week, taking over after the surprise departure of Carlo Ancelotti at the beginning of the month as he left to join Real Madrid.
The former Liverpool boss has signed a three-year deal at Goodison Park, and his work truly gets underway on Monday morning.
This is the first time Everton's squad have been back at Finch Farm since the departure of Ancelotti following the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
The majority of Blues players are expected to be back with their teammates, including James Rodriguez after his surprise omission from Colombia's Copa America squad over the summer.
Jean-Philippe Gbamin is also back with the rest of the squad on Monday after missing the end of last season through injury, as he has recently posted multiple images and videos of him working on his fitness on social media.
Benitez will take charge of his first Everton training sessions this week ahead of their pre-season matches kicking off towards the end of the month.

The Blues will first travel to the USA to take part in the Florida Cup, facing off against Millonarios before taking on either Inter Milan or Arsenal.
Everton will then return to the UK and are due to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford a week before the Premier League campaign gets underway on August 14th with the visit of Southampton to Goodison.
