Jarrad Branthwaite is being considered for a start for Everton tonight against Chelsea.
Blues boss Rafa Benitez has been mulling over the use of a back three and Branthwaite would feature in such a line-up.
The 20-year-old signed a new long-term contract last weekend but has yet to feature in the Premier League under Benitez.
Yet the January 2020 signing from Carlisle United is in the frame to play in the top-flight for the first time since final day of the delayed 2019-20 campaign.

Everton are without Yerry Mina and Lucas Digne for tonight’s game with Chelsea while Seamus Coleman was rated as doubtful.
And the injuries may now have presented Branthwaite with an opportunity to start a Premier League game for the first time under Benitez should the Spaniard opt for a back three.
Everton’s team news will be confirmed around 6:45pm.
