A recording studio, bar and coffee shop made from shipping containers is now open in Liverpool.
From the team at internet radio station Melodic Distraction, the new space aims to be a warm and welcoming hideaway from the busyness of the city centre.
Based in the Fabric District, Melodic Bar and Coffee Shop is set to host a range of community-focused events including music workshops, dances, art exhibitions, record fairs and more.

Having left their old studio in the Baltic Triangle last October, Melodic Distraction fundraised more than £36,000 via Kickstarter to build the new studio, coffee shop and bar.
The top container houses Melodic Distraction’s radio studio and the bottom features the courtyard - with coffee and a late night menu of beers, wines and cocktails.
The space is soundtracked by relooped Melodic Distraction Radio shows, in addition to DJ and live sets from artists on the station’s roster.
The venue serves daytime coffees and hot drinks throughout the week, before transitioning into an evening and night time hangout later, from Thursday to Sunday.
Melodic Bar and Coffee Shop is now open on Constance Street, L3 8HB.
The space is open from 9am - 6pm Monday to Wednesday, 9am - 11pm Thursday and Friday, 12pm - 11pm on Saturdays and 12pm - 10pm on Sundays.
