Radio presenter Polly James gives birth to baby girl

Radio presenter Polly James has announced she's had a baby girl.

The Radio X DJ, who formerly presented the Capital South Wales breakfast show with Matt Lissack, posted a picture of her and little Indy on Saturday morning.

Writing on Instagram, she posted: "Good Morning World  ‬ ‪Baby Indy arrived last night and is bloody lush... looking just like her Dad of course, long fluffy hair and extra chubbiness for good measure.

"Happy and healthy. Obsessed with her..."

The delighted new parents look to have been well prepared and selected their daughter's name in advance with the sweet snap seemingly showing Polly wearing a necklace bearing her daughter's name.

Born and bred in Cardiff , Polly is a well-known radio presenter who started off her career at Afan FM in Port Talbot , moving on to to Nation Radio before a stint on national station Absolute Radio in London, before returning to Cardiff to co-present the Capital South Wales breakfast show.

This was before she moved to Radio X , which has 1.6m weekly listeners. When she joined the station she said: "I’m excited to show people and the industry what I’m capable of doing on my own on a station that plays music I’m passionate about. I just hope the listeners adjust to a cheery Welsh voice and we find a good vibe between us. I couldn’t be happier."
