Radio 1Xtra DJ Snoochie Shy shares body confidence issues on I'm A Celebrity

Radio 1Xtra DJ Snoochie Shy has opened up on her body confidence issues on tonight's episode of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

The presenter was having a conversation with music producer Naughty Boy when the topic of filters on social media came up.

Shy said that women often wanted to look like the filters that are common on the platform, and that some went down the route of surgery to achieve it.

Sharing her own experiences of body confidence issues, she revealed that she had never in fact shown her birthmark online and that she "always covered it with make-up".

She said that she had shared fears with her mum and current partner that people would call her a 'catfish' online, and that as a result she had banned the word from her Instagram account.

This means that if anyone does write the word, it will be automatically hidden on her posts.

The 29-year-old came under fire in a previous episode over the hoop earrings she has been spotted wearing in camp.

But Ant and Dec addressed the issue, saying that it was allowed as long as they didn't have 'sentimental value'.

"Eagle-eyed viewers will have noticed Snoochie's earrings," Dec said to viewers during Thursday night's episode.

"Did you see them?" he asked his co-host to which Ant replied: "Yes, you couldn't miss them, Declan!"

"We asked about this," Dec continued, "And apparently the rule is they can bring in jewellery as long as they're not expensive or they don't have any sentimental value."

Ant added: "So if you bought her those earrings, sorry and sorry!"
