Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw has announced he is engaged to his model boyfriend.
The 37-year-old, known more affectionally as Grimmy, shared the news on Instagram to his 1.3 million followers. The University of Liverpool alumnus captioned the post "And in gay news this evening.....got proposed to, said yes obvs."
The post consisted of three loved-up snaps, two of which gave fans a close up of the chunky gold engagement ring as Nick posted in front of a sunset beach backdrop.

Nick started dating Meshach 'Mesh' Henry in October 2018. He previously spoke about starting a family with the dancer on the BBC Two series Walking With. Nick said: "I think I’d love to have kids and have my own family; it’s definitely something me and my boyfriend have spoken about and whether or not we’d have a surrogate or we’d have them biologically or if we’d adopt.
He added: "I think the adoption route is the one that we’ve leant towards... (there's) so many kids out there who need a home and need a loving family...We could do that. I’d love to adopt and provide that sanctuary for somebody or a few somebodies.”
Nick's post, which gained over 255,000 likes, was flooded with love from celebrities and fans alike. Love Island host, Laura Whitmore, commented: "Ahhhhhhh CONGRATS!!! So delighted for ya! And we can all celebrate by watching you on celeb juice tonight! Big love to you both xx." Pop sensation and lead singer of Years and Years, Olly Alexander, added: "Yesssssssssss."
TOWIE favourite, Gemma Collins, wrote: "Absolutely fabulous, congratulations x." One dance singer, Dua Lipa, penned: "LOVE!!!!!!!!!"
Davina McCall added: "Oh Wow!!! That's soooooooo lovely." Whereas Nick's former X-factor co-judge Rita Ora added: "Heaven."
