A racist thug who kicked a cop in the head and screamed racial and sexual abuse at officers was jailed again today.
Falkirk Sheriff Court heard that the incident happened after police were called to an "ongoing disturbance" in Bo'ness, West Lothian, on August 24.
Iain Doyle, 33, had only been released from prison that day for a previous offence involving violence and police assault.
When an officer of Asian ethnicity "attempted to engage" with Doyle, he responded, "F*** off Mohammed you c***, get your dirty hands off me".
As he continued to shout at police, he had to be put into a prone position. While he was lying on the ground, he kicked out, catching another officer on the forehead.
He was arrested and place into a police van to be taken to Falkirk Police Station, shouting and swearing throughout.
He told one cop, "Ha ha, I've raped your mum and your gran up the a***. F*** you and your Muslim family. I raped your wee sister as well."
He then started spitting in the cage area of the police van, and had to be placed in a spit prevention hood.
Doyle, of Bo'ness, who appeared by video link, admitted resisting police, police assault, and statutory breach of the police.
Solicitor Murray Aitken, defending, said: "Mr Doyle has no recollection of these events because of the state of intoxication he was in.
"He is embarrassed by what he said to the officers but says he genuinely can't remember a thing.
"I don't think there's much else I can say that will mitigate the circumstances."
Sheriff Derek Livingston jailed Doyle for a total of 264 days.
He told him: "Taking into account the kick in the head to the police officer and the disgusting and appalling sexual and racial comments made, there is no alternative."
