A racist thug who fired an air pistol at the feet of his black friend and ordered him to dance during a spree of drunken violence was jailed for 40 months yesterday.
Joe Watson, 24, made vile racist remarks to Mark Mulima during the assault.
He had earlier pulled the trigger of the weapon during another attack on Jordan Donnelly, 23, at his flat in Maryhill, Glasgow.
The air pistol was one of three weapons used in five assaults by Watson in a week of drink and drug-fuelled violence in August.
He also attacked Jordan with an axe to his severe injury and to the danger of his life.
Watson admitted five charges of assault and was sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh.
