TERRESITA can take her record in handicaps to 2-2 by beating seven opponents for the G.C.Rickards Ltd Mares' Handicap Hurdle (3.00).
After landing a two-mile novices’ hurdle for mares at Fakenham on her debut last November, Lucy Wadham’s daughter of Westerner ran fourth under a penalty over an additional three furlongs at Fontwell Park the following month.
Given handicap mark of 104 for her first start in the sphere, back at Fakenham on New Year’s Day, Terresita, tackling three miles for the first time, dotted up by 16 lengths from Dynamite Kentucky.
Given the ease of that victory, an 8lb hike to a new rating of 112 could have been worse.
There is certainly more to come on the fourth outing of this promising mare’s life, and, with Corey McGivern claiming a valuable 10lb allowance, Terresita can win again.
