He tackles a stronger race this time around, up 7lb in the weights – but is one of the most in-form horses in the field and he can strike again on the upgrade.
On the same card, OISHIN is the selection in the Join RacingTV Now Handicap Hurdle (4.00).
The 87-rated runner took this 2m 1f event last year and he has dipped 2lb in the weights.
His Newcastle fourth was encouraging 12 days ago, plus a valuable 7lb is taken off his back.
In what looks an open renewal, he has a fine chance of taking the spoils once again.
