Rachel Wyse steps down from Sky Sports GAA role

Rachel Wyse has announced her decision to step down from her Sky Sports GAA role.

The Dubliner has presented GAA matches on the channel for the past number of years.

Wyse did not work on Championship games last year after celebrating the birth of her first child with husband Tim Gredley.

Revealing her decision to step down from the role, she said on social media: "After six of the very best years working on the most rewarding job in my career, it’s time to step back.

"I’ve learnt so much and made friends for life.

"Thank you for the memories, I’m forever grateful to everyone who helped me along the way, you know who you are. #SKYGAA."

Former Kerry star Kieran Donaghy worked alongside Wyse on numerous occasions and wished her well in the future.

He commented: "Thanks for everything Rachel. Class to deal with and always kept your calm with us. Best of luck in your next venture."
