Rachel Weisz is set to make another film with Yorgos Lanthimos after the pair’s recent collaboration on dystopian dating satire The Lobster.

According to Deadline, Weisz will replace Kate Winslet in The Favourite, a drama that tracks backstage courtly machinations during Queen Anne’s reign at the turn of the 18th century.

Weisz is in talks to take on the role of Anne’s confidante Sarah and would star alongside Olivia Colman and Emma Stone. Colman also stars in The Lobster as the manager of the hotel where single people must find love or be turned into animals and sent into the wild. In The Favourite, she will take on the lead role of Anne, while Stone will play her impoverished distant relative Abigail Masham.

After a handful of less well-received films, from Dream House to The Bourne Legacy to Oz the Great and Powerful, Weisz is scoring great reviews for The Lobster and for her role in Paolo Sorrentino’s latest, Youth.

She has also completed a role in Derek Cianfrance’s drama The Light Between Oceans alongside Michael Fassbender, an untitled film from Maria Full of Grace director Joshua Marston with Michael Shannon, and James Marsh’s fact-based drama about doomed yachtsman Donald Crowhurst opposite Colin Firth.
