Rachel Riley shows off baby bump on glam night out with Pasha Kovalev

Rachel Riley and Pasha Kovalev were all smiles as the married couple enjoyed a night out on the town on Friday.

The pregnant Countdown star, 35, looked radiant as she cradled her growing baby bump as she enjoyed an evening with her husband.

The couple, who met while partnered together on Strictly Come Dancing, were attending a Cabaret All Stars show in London, with the pair both dressing up and looking glamorous for the occasion.

The soon to be mum-of-two wore her blonde hair loose and showcased her blossoming baby bump in a figure-hugging chic black dress while her beau opted for a more colourful ensemble - donning a tartan blazer paired with a red jumper.

Rachel and Pasha first met when the Countdown star appeared on 11th series of the BBC ballroom dancing programme Strictly Come Dancing in 2013.

The maths marvel was actually already married to Jamie Gilbert when she was partnered up with Pasha on the hit show but the pair announced they were separating in November 2013 - with many blaming the 'Strictly curse' for their split.

The dancing duo eventually became an official couple and in May 2019, the presenter announced she was pregnant with their first child.

The couple married in Las Vegas just a month after sharing the news and in December 2019, Rachel gave birth to a daughter, Maven Aria.

The star's public appearance comes just weeks after it was revealed that the pregnant TV star had lost the latest round of a libel battle with a political blogger.

The 35-year-old was accused of engaging in a "campaign of online abuse and harassment" on Twitter by a Jeremy Corbyn supporter.

She originally sued Mike Sivier after he published an article on his website Vox Political in January 2019 with the headline: "Serial abuser Rachel Riley to receive 'extra protection' - on grounds that she is receiving abuse" but the blogger defended his article and in May 2021 he won an appeal.

Three Court of Appeal judges ruled that his public interest defence should be assessed at a trial.

In a written ruling, appeal judge Lord Justice Warby said: "I would allow the appeal.

"I would set aside the order striking out the defence of publication on matter of public interest."

He added: "In my view, the appropriate course is for the public interest defence to be assessed at a trial."

The two other appeal judges, Lord Justice Henderson and Dame Victoria Sharp, agreed with the ruling.
