Countdown star Rachel Riley graced our screens again for 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown but fans are interested in her marriage to Strictly Come Dancing ’s Pasha Kovalev.
The happy couple welcomed their second daughter Noa in early November, and already share 2-year-old Maven.
These two are a fan favourite couple from Strictly as viewers saw their chemistry and connection on the dancefloor, turn into a full blown romance after the show finished.
Before Riley met the dance pro Kovalev on the set of Strictly, she was married to her childhood sweetheart Jamie Gilbert.
The couple met at Oxford University and were together until 2009 when their relationship briefly hit the rocks.
She broke up with Gilbert after four years together but they managed to relight their romance, marrying in August 2012 according to The Sun .
Riley briefly settled down with businessman Gilbert in Southend, Essex for 16 months before splitting up with him after leaving the BBC show.
The Maths wiz signed up for the BBC dance competition in 2013 and was partnered with Kovalev before being booted off the show in week five.
However, one month after the show finished she ended her marriage to her ex-husband Gilbert and later confirming her new relationship with Kovalev in 2014.
Fans saw this as another case of the Strictly curse, but at the time Riley insisted her dance partner wasn’t the reason for the split.
She told The Sun: “I’m still friends with my ex-husband. He’s great, he’s a brilliant guy.
“We were together since I was 19 and it wasn’t right.”
Riley and Kovalev tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony, before introducing their first daughter Maven to the world later that year.
This week they announced the arrival of Noa to the sound of fireworks on November 5, telling fans the news on Twitter with a picture of the latest bubba.
She said: “She's totally adorable and her big sister Maven has already tried welcoming her to the world by offering Oatly and pickles, we think that's a good sign.
"Massive thanks to the wonderful home birth midwives team and my doula who looked after us all so well."
