Rachel Riley was given a fright when she realised the Countdown board was offering contestants a very rude word as an answer.
The presenter, 34, noticed that the choice of vowels and consonants for one contestant could easily spell out the swear word as they played the final letters game.
Ever the professional, Rachel stifled her laughter until she realised that the letters she had read out had actually spelled "c**t".
Contestant Tony asked: "Can I have a vowel please?" before Rachel listed off "U", followed closely by "C", "N", and "T".

Rachel was turned away from the screen when she realised, before turning back and pulling a twisted expression to the camera.
In the pre-recorded programme - before the birth of baby girl Maven Aria, a heavily pregnant Rachel is seen cradling her bump.
Rachel welcomed her first child with her boyfriend, Strictly Come Dancing professional Pasha Kovalev, in December.

Maven Aria was two weeks late, according to Rachel's first ever Instagram post of her daughter.
At the time, she wrote: "2 weeks after we were expecting her this little one finally made an appearance!
"Miss Maven (one who understands) Aria (lioness) Riley Kovaleva arrived on Sunday morning weighing in at 7lbs 4."

The mum-of-one recently uploaded a heartwarming snap to Instagram as she paid tribute to Pasha while he celebrated his milestone 40th birthday.
Rachel posted an adorable snap of the doting dad with their little tot to mark the special day.
She penned alongside the snap: "Celebrating 40 years of this wonderful human today. We couldn't love him more."
The pair have been together since 2013 after they were paired together on Strictly Come Dancing.
