Rachel Riley opens up about plans to have another baby with Strictly husband Pasha

Rachel Riley has hinted that she and Pasha Kovalev may have another baby.

14 months ago Rachel and Pasha, who met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2013 and wed in 2019, welcomed baby daughter Maven.

Maven is their first child, and the famous pair may be giving her a baby brother or sister some time in the future.

"I think we'd like another one..." Rachel told Hello! magazine, "Some of my friends had twins by accident and a few of them have got three little ones and everyone seemed to have them straight after.

"No one regrets it though, do they?"

And Rachel expressed regret that she hasn't been able to get to any baby clubs with "happy" Maven due to lockdown.

Maven was only three months old when the first lockdown came into effect, so she hasn't been able to socialise with other children.

Proud mum Rachel also harbours hopes that her little girl will be bilingual, as Pasha speaks to her only in his native Russian.

Maven's already made an appearance on Countdown (Countdown/Channel 4)

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, she told: "She's got teeth, she's biting us, she's all about chat chat chat!

"Pasha is speaking to her solely in Russian and I'm speaking to her in English so we're hoping she'll be bilingual."

Rachel added: "She's so mobile, she's crawling and can walk with one hand now."

Cambridge maths grad Rachel also intends for Maven to be a numbers whizz just like her - but all in good time.

"At the moment, she can just bash cups together," she laughed.

Meanwhile, rumours have been swirling that Rachel has been eyeing up Good Morning Britain after Piers Morgan's sudden exit.

A source told The Sun that she would love to do Piers' former job hosting the ITV breakfast show.

Rachel rocketed to fame on Countdown more than a decade ago.

Host Nick Hewer recently announced he wouldn't be returning for the show, revealing he had made his decision while shielding because of coronavirus.

It's not yet known who'll replace him, but as far as we know, Rachel is staying put.
