Rachel Riley simply couldn't wait to introduce her ‘lucky’ newborn baby girl Maven to the world of football with her first ever Manchester United game.
The 33-year-old countdown star, who gave birth to her first child with partner Pasha Kolelev in December, beamed as the family enjoyed a trip to an MUFC at Old Trafford on February 23.
“10 weeks old today and her first trip to the Theatre of Dreams! We got 3 points and Mave got to meet Sir Alex and Sir Bobby - such a lucky baby, best day ever! #manchesterunited #mufc #proudmama,” Rachel wrote on Instagram.
In the snap, baby Maven donned the red footy outfit of her mum’s favourite team as they watched the Red Devils thrash Watford with a 3-0 result.
The happy couple looked smart for the sporting event, with 40-year-old Pasha opting for a slick all-black suit and Rachel wearing a pretty floral print.
Their baby girl - whose full name is Maven Aria Riley Kovaleva - then got the chance to meet legends of the footballing world, Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Bobby Charlton.
Football fans were naturally divided over the snap, but loyal Manchester United supporters were over the moon that the baby girl had apparently brought the team good luck.
“Mave is our lucky charm!! Just brilliant having you all here today!!” wrote one follower.
“Ah how lovely! She’s perfect!!” wrote Game Of Thrones star John Bradley.
“Poor child,” joked a third follower, who seemingly wasn’t a fan of the club.
Doting new mum Rachel has made no secret of her love for the sport and hasn’t taken any chances with her baby girl’s team of choice.
The family’s first game together came shortly after the Countdown presenter shared an image of Maven lying on a Man U blanket surrounded by an overwhelming amount of footballing merchandise.
At the time, she jokingly suggested that her daughter can choose any football team she wants to support “so long as she picks a red one that plays in Manchester.”
Rachel and Pasha appear to be thoroughly enjoying parenthood and have shared a series of adorable images ever since Maven was born on 15 December.
Just weeks after announcing they would be welcoming their child, the loved-up couple eloped to Las Vegas where they secretly tied the knot in a low-key ceremony.
It was only after the wedding that the mum-to-be told followers that they had taken the next step.
"Introducing the new Mr and Mrs Kovalev... We both said yes!" the new bride gushed.
