Rachel Riley baffled as she spots drug use warning issued for kids' TV show Bing

Rachel Riley was left slightly baffled after she spotted a warning about drug use that flashed on-screen during the children's TV show, Bing.

The 35-year-old Countdown star, who is currently expecting her second child with husband Pasha Kovalev, took to social media to express her confusion about the unusually placed drug use warning.

In the mum of one's post, Rachel shared a snap taken of her television screen in which she had drawn a red circle around the top left corner.

The warning in the top left corner read 'RATED U' before a second line added 'Drug use.'

It looks like Rachel saw the funny side, adding: "I knew Bing has Charlie in it but what the hell else is the BBC pushing to our toddlers?!"

Rachel's comment section was quickly filled with witty comments from other parents who speculated about what the unusual warning might mean.

"It's not a warning, it's a recommendation to any parents who have to sit through it," joked one follower.

Another added: "Flop has to get money from somewhere and dealing in Calpol is a lucrative business."

"Whoever came up with Bing was likely high at the time. Maybe it's that," added a third.

The kids' show centres on the adorable adventures of an animated bunny called Bing as well as their friends, including Flop and Sula. The show has a U rating, which means that it is suitable for children over the age of four years old.

While seasons one and two of the show are available on the BBC platform, it is not produced by the BBC and is also available to view on other streaming sites. A BBC representative also confirmed that there are no drug use warnings on the seasons available on their platforms.

Rachel's recent tweet came shortly before she opened up about her pregnancy struggles as she gears up to welcoming her second born later this year.

"It's that time again. Four months left of pregnancy throat burn but at least I have somewhere to keep my tablets," she wrote on Twitter.

Alongside the post, Rachel shared a glowing picture of herself as she balanced a large bottle of TUMS Assorted Berries on top of her baby bump .

The television star has been sharing lots of exciting updates with her followers as she eagerly awaits the arrival of her bundle of joy.

Rachel - who met Pasha on Strictly Come Dancing - announced that she was expecting the couple's second child in April 2021.

At the time, the Countdown star confirmed the news in a cheerful post on social media, writing: "A special teatime teaser!

"And your clue is... Riley had this to thank for the reason her clothes no longer fit her... And it’ll only get worse till Autumn!

"Happy, happy days for our little family @pashakovalev and future big sister Mave."
