Inspirationalist news, now, as model and erstwhile Rod Stewart wife Rachel Hunter is unveiled as the new face of Slimfast in the UK.
Needless to say, Rachel is graciously keen to stress that despite her what people must think, she too has "self esteem issues". Um... yes? You're phoning in a Slimfast campaign. I think we can assume THAT'S got to dent the ego.
I say phoning it in, because last June, during promotional rounds for Slimfast in the US, a New York magazine interviewer asked Rachel if she'd ever tried the product. "No," was her breezy reply. "But you know, who doesn't want to lose 15 to 20 pounds? I'd definitely try it."
Mm. Apropos of nothing, and because Lost in Showbiz is done looking for items to crowbar it into... this is where Rachel's dog lives.
