It’s official (or at least red carpet official) - actress Rachel Bilson and comedic actor Bill Hader are dating.
The duo, who were previously only rumored to be a couple, didn’t seem to shy away from confirming their relationship at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards. Bilson, 38, opted for a dreamy black lace gown, seemingly coordinating with Hader, 41, who was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series for his role in the comedy show Barry.
The pair posed on the red carpet with their arms around each other, and were even pictured holding hands inside The Beverly Hilton Hotel, where the ceremony took place.
Bilson and Hader recently attracted attention when they were seen on a date in Los Angeles in early November, and they further sparked dating rumors just last month. As TMZ reports, the former O.C. star and SNL alumni were spotted in Hader’s hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, grabbing Starbucks just ahead of the holidays with his family.
Bilson and Hader starred together in the 2013 film, The To Do List, which was coincidentally written and directed by Hader’s then-wife, Maggie Carey. Hader and Carey share three daughters together and were divorced in 2017.
Bilson, who also has a daughter, separated from her fiancé, actor Hayden Christensen in 2017.
Social media was largely excited as Bilson and Hader made their couple debut - even Bilson’s rumored ex, former Bachelor star Nick Viall seemed to approve.
The television personality commented on an Instagram post of Bilson and Hader at the Golden Globes, saying, “It makes it easier since I’m such a Barry fan.” So now all that’s left is deciding on a celebrity couple name.
