Rachael Blackmore rides three-timer at Killarney - as boyfriend Brian Hayes also gets on the scoreboard

Rachael Blackmore rode a three-timer at Killarney today - as her boyfriend Brian Hayes was also on the scoreboard.

Blackmore began her day on the well-backed Mr Tambourine Man for trainer John Nalley in a maiden hurdle.

And her four-year-old mount hit all the right notes to run out an easy winner in the hands of Blackmore.

She had to settle for second in the next though as Jack Kennedy took the ML Lynch Civil Engineering maiden hurdle on Off Your Rocco.

And in the next it was her boyfriend Brian Hayes who triumphed on board Getaway Gorgeous for the Willie Mullins stable, with Rachael back in fourth on Rescue Package.

After taking a bad fall in the following handicap hurdle, Blackmore was back in the saddle in the very next race to steer Cavalry Master to victory in the Jim Ryan Racecourse Services Novice Chase.

Then the Tipperary rider then made it a treble on the card as Gin On Lime, trained by Henry de Bromhead, easily won the Mares Beginners Steeplechase.

After narrowly losing out to Paul Townend in last year's jockey championship, Blackmore has already made a great start to this campaign.

She will back in action at Killarney tomorrow with four rides on the card.
