Race for Life road closures in Glasgow- all the street restrictions for today's event

Glaswegians are lacing up their running shoes this morning for one of the most colourful charity events in the city's calendar.

It's the annual Cancer Research UK Race for Life and thousands of people are expected to take part, as always.

The charity has called on men, women and children to fight back against cancer and get involved in the 5K and 10K events today (Sunday) at Glasgow Green.

Race For Life begins at 9.30am, with the money raised put towards helping scientists find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease, helping save more lives.
