A young man was punched and kicked to the ground during a racist attack at a London Underground station.
British Transport Police said the 32-year-old had been on a Northern line train from Leicester Square when he was verbally abused by several people.
A spokesman said: “They all left the train at Camden Town where the incident escalated into the group kicking and punching the man to the ground.”
Members of the public and station staff tried to intervene but the assault continued before the thugs fled and got on a train towards High Barnet.
Officers carried out extensive enquiries following the beating at around 1.50am on June 28.
BTP released CCTV images of three young men and two women who could “have information that may assist enquiries”.
A spokesman said: “Detectives investigating a serious assault at Camden Town Underground station have released images of a group of people they would like to speak to.”
