Race against time to reunite Rutherglen woman with lost passport

A Burnside woman is in a race against time to find her lost passport.

Joanne Shields is due to fly out to Croatia today but the most vital document she needs to get her there has vanished.

The last known sighting of her passport was in Glasgow city centre yesterday afternoon (Saturday, July 6) at St Enoch Car Park, before she headed along Argyle Street and on to Central Station.

And when she got to the Money Exchange Shop, she realised it was missing.

The 37-year-old said: "I Had It At 4.55pm In St Enoch Car Park, walked from there along Argyle Street and on to Central Station.

"It's either fallen out or been taken out of my rucksack.

"I've reported it to Stewart Street Police Station but if anyone has found it, I'm desperate for it to be returned.

"It's a long shot, but a girl has to try."

Joanne is flying at 3pm today (Sunday) so it's going to be a close call... but can you help, Glasgow?
