South Sydney has produced a superb second-half performance to subdue Parramatta and win 38-24 to progress to a preliminary final against minor premiers Penrith.
The Eels, playing on the same day they learned Michael Jennings had been provisionally suspended for failing a drug test, led 18-8 at half-time in the semi-final and appeared on the cusp of victory at Western Sydney Stadium.
But the Rabbitohs responded after the break by scoring five tries to one, booking a berth in the grand-final qualifier against the Panthers.
More to come.
