Rabbie Burns bagel with Irn-Bru chicken coming to Edinburgh for one day only

Burns Night is this Saturday, with Scots across the world tucking in to traditional meals in honour of the National Bard's birthday.

Bross Bagels are marking the day with special snacks available for a short time only.

Owner Larah Bross has been working with the Fetlor Youth Club and Scran Academy to create a sufficiently Scottish Rabbie Burns bagel.

The winning recipe is a fairly modern twist on the theme - the £6.50 bagel comes with Irn-Bru glazed pulled chicken, rocket, pickled slaw and mayo.

It's available in Bross Bagels' Leith shop on Saturday only.

Proceeds from the sales will go towards Fetlor Youth Club, which helps children in the north of Edinburgh.

Throughout the weekend they'll be offering their famous Rabbi Burns bagel across all Bross shops in Edinburgh.

This feast in a bagel includes haggis, neep and tattie latke, whiskey maple mayo, caramelised onion and cheddar.
