Qwen’s New Tool Turns Research Papers Into Live Websites in Minutes

Qwen has rolled out a new feature that claims to convert your research papers into a live website within minutes. The process is said to be quite simple as well; you just have to upload your paper, Qwen Chat transforms it into a structured webpage, and the platform deploys it instantly.

There are some early users who have already tried the feature and shared their thoughts on X. One user wrote, “paper to website in minutes feels like magic until you realize it’s just really good structured data extraction. The deployment part is where this gets interesting.” Others called it “really neat” and “simply lovely.” Another user noted, “Qwen is very underrated.”

So all this feedback makes one thing clear: the feature is gaining attention for how it simplifies publishing. Traditionally, converting a research paper into a webpage required technical knowledge and third-party tools. However, with Qwen’s approach, the process is automated, reducing friction for academics, students, and professionals who want to share their work online.

Though it’s important to keep in mind that this is not the only update Qwen has launched in recent times. Last month, the company released a free, local, and open-source AI-powered image editing tool built on its 20B Qwen-Image model. The editor focuses on precise text editing, an area where most AI tools still fall short, and supports both English and Chinese languages. It can handle everything from swapping out Scrabble tile text to reimagining characters in new outfits.

I have used the image editing capabilities and was quite impressed with the results. Unfortunately, I have not tried the new research paper on the website feature, so I can’t claim anything on that. But I am definitely looking forward to using it in the future, and will share my experience with you all.
