Buckets

  1. You should be: the head of a tech startup, advertising consultancy or a motivational speaker.

Here's why: you’re an extrovert who enjoys travelling, meeting people and hustling for business. You enjoy the challenge of selling your wares to unsuspecting clients or pitching for investment and get a buzz out of securing that big account. Launch a tech startup and play with the big boys in Silicon Valley, use some of that swagger to advise others on their advertising campaigns or stand on a stage and teach the masses to be more like you. Your thick skin will serve you well in business but don’t be afraid to show your sensitive side and connect with your audience.

  2. You should be: a florist, landscape gardener, shop or cafe owner.

Here's why: you want everyone to be happy and use your empathy and peaceful nature to make that happen. You would be most suited to the service industry, where you can be front of house, making sure that your customers are always treated in line with your very high standards. As an entrepreneur, be careful that you don’t take knock backs personally, or let hard-nosed investors walk over you along the way.

  3. You should be: a creative consultant, artist or inventor.

Here's why: you’re a creative soul, always dreaming up your next big project, or attempting to solve a tricky problem via brain power alone. You prefer working solo or in small teams and are very focused on the end result of any business venture. You would suit a life as a creative consultant or freelancer (such as a designer or writer), an artist, or an inventor. You will always be focused on making something and contributing something beautiful or useful to the world. Do not be afraid to ask for advice from your more pragmatic associates when it comes to the practicalities of business.

  4. You should be: a microbrewer, property developer or the owner of a virtual store.

Here's why: pragmatic and level-headed, you want to be your own boss and are on the lookout for opportunities. Consider where your passions and hobbies lie and where you can put your natural common sense to good use. Perhaps a growing sector such as the craft beer industry, or property development would give you the chance to make those big business decisions.
