Quirky terrace boasts 'breathtaking' views of waterfront

A quirky terraced home offering sweeping views of Merseyside's waterfront has been put on the market.

The property on Mockbeggar Drive in Wallasey, on the Wirral, is a stone's throw from the New Brighton waterfront, which offers views of both the River Mersey and the Irish Sea.

The unique home, which has a striking angular frontage, has two bedrooms and an unusual interior layout.

The house may be relatively compact, but the owners have maximised space with their décor choices. It opens up into a bright and airy hallway which has been kept neutral, a move that enlarges the space.

The kitchen is a serene and calming heart of the home, with glossy cabinets in a powder blue complementing the white countertops.

There's also a separate dining room whose window looks out onto the waterfront. It is currently being used as a second lounge.

Elsewhere on the ground floor is a massive integrated garage, a utility room and a WC.

The main lounge is upstairs and makes the most of the stunning landscape through its huge windows. The walls again have been kept white for optimum brightness, with contrasts provided by the mustard sofa and black leather chairs.

The owners have completed the room with a small dining table and a splash of greenery from house plants.

The property's two bedrooms are well proportioned and the master provides a perfect relaxation spot with its gorgeous views.

The family bathroom is stylish and modern, with patterned floor tiles, charcoal cabinets and a large walk-in shower unit.

If the waterfront wasn't enough to explore, the terrace also has a generously sized paved back garden.

As well as stunning scenery, the house also benefits from a large back yard (Zoopla/Jones & Chapman)

The house is on the market for £360,000 with Jones & Chapman. The estate agents hailed the property as 'one to shout about'.

The price tag is also a bargain; over the last year, homes on Mockbeggar Drive had an overall average price of £379,250. The figure is 41% higher than the previous 12 months and a 38% jump on the 2019 peak of £275,000.
