Quinton Dunbar calls out Redskins on Instagram after Ronald Darby signing

The Washington Redskins made a sizeable free agency signing on Sunday afternoon, agreeing to a one-year, $4 million deal with former Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Ronald Darby.

Darby will now slot in alongside Kendall Fuller, Fabian Moreau, and Jimmy Moreland on the Redskins depth chart.

Many fans of the Redskins were excited about the move, seeing as Darby is arguably the biggest name that the team has acquired in free agency thus far. They also took swings at players like WR Amari Cooper and TE Austin Hooper, but neither deal came to fruition. In the midst of it all, the Redskins also traded away CB Quinton Dunbar, who was unable to reach an agreement on a contract extension with Washington and ended up asking for a trade, seeing as the team wouldn’t pay him what he desired. Dunbar was traded to the Seattle Seahawks for a fifth-round pick.

Now that the Redskins have found his replacement, Dunbar is letting his thoughts be known. Apparently, he finds it ironic that Washington would pay Darby $4 million per season, but not him.

In the end, Dunbar seems to be happy with his new team, and confident that he can play for a contender at long last. Both sides are moving on, and everyone seems to be fine with that.
