Quinnen Williams to play brother, Quincy, when Jets face Jaguars

Brothers Quinnen and Quincy Williams were selected in this year’s draft and will now go head-to-head in 2019.

Quinnen was selected by the Jets with the third overall pick in the draft, while Quincy was picked by the Jaguars with the 98th pick. Luckily for the two of them, the Jets and Jaguars will meet during the 2019 season.

The Jets and Jaguars play in Week 9 down in Jacksonville on Oct. 27.

The Williams brothers are two very different football players. Quinnen is a defensive tackle, while Quincy plays linebacker. They also went to two very different schools. Quinnen attended Alabama and Quincy went to Murray State.

At Alabama, Quinnen only played two seasons. He had 91 total tackles to go along with 10 sacks. As for Quincy, he was a four-year player at Murray State. For his college career, he had 231 total tackles, three interceptions and nine pass defenses.

It’s not every day that you see two brothers get picked in the same draft, nonetheless play each other in their first season. It will definitely be a date that they circle on their calendar and a special moment that they can share together on the football field.
