'Quiet piggy!' Moment Trump lashes out at reporter asking about Epstein files

This is the shocking moment Donald Trump snapped at a female reporter who questioned him on the Epstein files, pointing his finger in her face and demanding, “Quiet, Piggy.”

The moment was captured on Air Force One as the president answered press questions while flying from Washington, DC, to Mar-a-Lago in Florida for the weekend on November 14.

Reporters were understandably keen to ask the president about the files on the disgraced paedophile after the US Congress made a cache of 24,000 documents public.

One particular file that has set the tongues of the press wagging is an email exchange between Epstein and convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, in which Epstein calls Trump “the dog that hasn’t barked.”

Epstein goes on to say: “[Redacted victim's name] spent hours at my house with him, he has never once been mentioned.”

To this, Maxwell responds: “I have been thinking about that...”

Trump has consistently denied wrongdoing of any kind and distanced himself from Epstein.

However, since the release of this new wave of evidence, media pressure has piled on the president.

In one particularly tense exchange, a Bloomberg reporter asked him if there was anything “incriminating” in the Epstein emails, to which Trump pointed a finger in her face and said: “Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.”

“Piggy” is a much-used insult of Trump’s – he’s been known to level it at high-profile women in the past. One of which was former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, who claimed Trump (who co-owned the organisation) threatened to take away her title after she gained weight - a claim which resurfaced during the 2016 presidential debate.

Another reported email exchange was between Michael Wolff and Epstein, who wrote: "Trump said he asked me to resign, never a member ever.

"Of course, he knew about the girls, as he asked ghislaine to stop," he added, in reference to rumours that Trump has denied, that Epstein and Maxwell used Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort to poach potential sex trafficking victims.

In response to the emails, Trump insisted: “I know nothing about that. They would have announced that a long time ago.”

He added: "Jeffrey Epstein and I had a very bad relationship for many years.”
